About the Role
- We’re looking for a dedicated senior QA engineer who will join our engineering team as we grow. Working alongside our data teams, ensuring high quality and reliability of our products.

As a Data QA Engineer, you will:
• Work as part of the backend teams, designing and executing tests that validate the Big Data analytics solution across its core components, including Kafka pipelines, backend services, and database layers.
• Write test plans, conduct test plan reviews and execute manual tests.
• Perform manual testing through the product UI, database queries, inspection of Kafka topic data, and review of backend service logs.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform Integration testing
• Write scripts to create and prepare data for testing of features and algorithms
• Perform end-to-end task management
Requirements
Qualifications:
· At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer/ Analyst / BI
· Experience working in Linux/Windows
· Experience writing and executing database queries (Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Postgress, etc..).
· Experience working with complex, multi-component system architectures.
· Experience working according to defined QA methodologies, standards, and workflows, including the ability to design, implement, and optimize QA processes as needed.
· Experience with E2E testing of Web systems
· Experience with Postman or equivalent tools
· Experience with management tools ( Jira, Xray, TFS, etc.. )
· Strong analytical skills - identifying bugs and solving complex problems

It would be great if you also have:
· Experience in working with big data – structured and unstructured
· Experience with automatic testing tools (JSystem, QTP, Selenium, etc..)
· Hands-on experience working with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, flink
· Some experience and knowledge in a development language of choice
· B.Sc. Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
